The Center for Global Agenda is pleased to announce a new Public Forum on the SDG 16 Hub

New York, New York City, April 26, 2022 (PRLog) - The Center for Global Agenda (CGA) at Unbuilt Labs is leading the global stakeholder consultation for the Recommended UN Action Plan to Close the Compliance Gap
(CCG), a publication at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Action Plan CCG will recommend directing impact investment funds and efforts towards four main areas of diplomacy — Area 1: Cultural Diplomacy, Area 2: Science Diplomacy, Area 3: Preventive Diplomacy, and Area 4: Disaster Diplomacy, with five specific themes within each of the areas.

The Public Forum for the Recommended UN Action Plan to Close the Compliance Gap is now available on the SDG 16 Hub, a portal hosted by the UNDP Oslo Governance Centre. Anyone is welcome to provide feedback and comment by creating an account on the platform. The Public Forum is available here: https://www.sdg16hub.org/group/center-global-agenda-recommended-un-action-plan-close-compliance-gap-ccg/about

"We are pleased to be a supporter of SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. The Recommended UN Action Plan to Close the Compliance Gap recognizes the importance of promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, providing access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. This is reflected in the Action Plan's three pillars: (1) increasing global participation and breaking silos, (2) building resilience and responsible disruption, and (3) just transition." - Marvin Cheung, CGA Co-Director.

We invite everyone to participate in the global stakeholder consultation process. Anyone can now submit a public statement. Organizations that wish to co-host 1 or 2 workshops with us can also apply for consultative status with CGA. For more details, please see https://unbuiltlabs.com/cga Thank you for your time and support.

We look forward to hearing from you!
